7 month-old boy survives without scratch after 200ft trip in Mexico tornado

    (ANI)

A seven month-old boy has astonished everyone after he was swept 200ft in the air by a tornado and survived without a scratch.

Brandon Emiliano was ripped from his cot as winds up to 72mph tore the tin roof off his home.

But a dumped mattress broke his fall.

His terrified mum Marisa watched him "go flying along with the roof" before disappearing.

"He was taken by the sky. It was the middle of the night but I ran to look for him," the Sun quoted his mother as saying.

"I thought he must be dead. But we found him after an hour in a nearby house, in his blanket."

"They are calling him our flying baby," the mother added.

Marisa's neighbour found the tot just 60 yards from his home in Tamaulipas, Mexico.

Stunned doctors discovered he was unhurt. (ANI)
